A & H Institute of Health Management launched its open day on the 17th of September 2022. This day began with a lot of rainfall but the excited public could not be deterred by the bad weather or any other hindrance.
The attendance saw the presence of people from many different age groups and social rankings as well as the media and the clergy. Over 200 people were in attendance to see for themselves what they have been hearing about.
Their feedback was quite impressive and many people promised to enroll their children in the institute for quality training. This promise is backed by the surge in registration after this magnificent crowd-pulling event which left a great impression on the minds of the participants.

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,
Staff, Board Members, and Distinguished Guests,
Welcome to the Open House Day for the A&H Institute of Healthcare Management. This inaugural is aimed at giving you a sense of what it means to study on our prestigious campus, and for the parents and students to interact with our staff and other stakeholders of the institution.
Our principal objective is to serve our community, by training and building capacity, for healthcare personnel, in medical and biomedical specialties to very high standards. We shall provide our students with coursework that is comparable globally while bringing real-life experiences into the classrooms to enhance their learning outcomes.
Our students will be tutored to the highest international standards by leading professionals and experts in their respective fields.
The courses offered are Nursing Science, Midwifery, Lab Technology, and Healthcare Management for HND courses. (Higher National Diploma.) We also have Pharmacy Assistance, Medical Secretaries, and First Aiders for OND courses.
Upon completion of the HND, the student will automatically qualify for our Bachelor of Sciences, BSc. studies.
We shall also provide preparatory courses for certifications in the USA, the UK and the UAE, Dubai.
At A&H, we exemplify excellence, integrity, and professionalism. We intend to train students who will graduate not only with very high-quality academic qualifications but with high morals and values that better serve every community.
Our goal is to ensure that our students are well-equipped and well-rounded individuals, both professionally as well as socio-culturally. To that end, we are giving them self-help presentations on topics such as “Self-Confidence & Success,” offered by industry experts.
We have a dynamic, dedicated, well-qualified, and highly-trained staff, who are always at the service of our students.
On this special day, we are excited that parents, guardians, and students will have the opportunity to discover our campus together, and appraise the following:
- Our well-stocked library
- A fully-equipped clinical laboratory and nursing practice rooms
- A computer lab
- Conferencing facilities
- And our Administrative Offices.
In order to give our students real-life exposure to medical training, we have signed partnership agreements for their internship in some key establishments around the South West. These include:
- A&H Medical Clinic
- The Regional Hospital Limbe,
- Regional Hospital Buea,
- District Hospital Bota
- District Hospital Mutengene,
- District Hospital Tiko
- Limbe sub-divisional Medical centre Limbe,(PMI)
just to name a few.
As part of our cultural practices to give back to our community, A&H Institute of Health Management offers a variety of scholarships and financial aid packages for students who meet the eligibility criteria.
Today, one of the scholarships will be awarded to deserving candidates. The details of the other schemes will be presented to students, parents, and or their guardians.
Another wellness health awareness program today will be the offering of free community testing for BP and Diabetes.
Something exciting that we’re announcing today: The top performing students will be granted fully paid employment opportunities at the A&H Medical Clinic in Limbe.

As part of our policy for transparency on this Open House Day, regarding what A&H offers to the general public, our Project Team, Staff Members, Members of the Board, and our Strategic Partners, are ready to take any questions from our valued guests.
Hopefully, by the end of the day, all the prospective students will make an informed decision and be converted into registered students, by enrolling in their masses.

A Word Of Thanks
The A&H Institute of Health Management thanks the general public for honoring their invitation to our Open Day event on the 17th of September. The day was meant to create more awareness among the entire public and also to give the students and parents/guardians a real sense of what it means to study in our institution and to interact with our well-trained & dynamic staff, board, and other team members. Activities included a guided tour of our campus, a presentation of our scholarship opportunities, academic programs, motivational talks by industry specialists, and community services.
